Analysis of Port Operations Based on Digital Twins
1.Function Introduction
By integrating AI artificial intelligence, OR operation research optimization, DT digital twin and other related technologies, based on the theory of discrete event simulation, combined with the characteristics of container terminal operation, a digital twin technology-based approach is employed to fuse dynamic probabilistic simulation models and time-driven discrete event simulation interactive technology. This integration also incorporates a terminal multi-stage and multi-equipment resource allocation model algorithm driven by business and data. Ultimately, a port digital twin simulation platform is developed to facilitate pre-simulation decision-making and intelligent algorithm fusion verification for container terminals.
2.system function
The simulation platform is a collaborative and interactive operation based on four simulators (quay crane simulator, horizontal transport equipmentsimulator, yard crane simulator, gate simulator) driven by each module algorithm in the real-time terminal scheduling stage.
Simulation platform = digital twin + scheduling algorithm + interaction simulation
3.System advantages
Based on discrete event simulation, the four simulators can simulate the loading and unloading container, such as shoreside, yard, gate.
By integrating the scheduling algorithm of each module of the terminal operation and real-time interaction of the database, the closed-loop integration is completed to simulate the uncertain factors and randomness in the actual operation of the terminal.
Using the 3D digital twin system, the results of the scheduling algorithm are presented, and the advantages and disadvantages of the scheduling results are clearly distinguished.
